BHAVYA - Bihar Health Application Visionary Yojana for All Download PDF


The State of Bihar follows the principle of ‘The First Wealth is Health’ as the health and welfare of the citizen is of prime importance to the State.

The state has taken into cognizance that digital health ecosystems have become increasingly relevant for maximizing institutional productivity and for increasing accessibility of public healthcare for beneficiaries. The state envisions to transform the landscape of healthcare service provisioning (at community level) and management of hospitals (at facilities level) through an ambitious digitization project named BHAVYA (Bihar Health Application Visionary Yojana for All).

Hospital Information Management System (HIMS) is being implemented across all the healthcare facilities in the state through the BHAVYA portal. In addition, the portal has offline friendly mobile interfaces for HSC and for ASHA. Government of Bihar envisions a seamless interconnected healthcare service provisioning platform to harness the IT revolution, which is consistently evolving at a fast pace.
